The dedication of the new Veterans Memorial and Patriots Burial took place on Armed Forces Day, May 17, 2025, at the Blockville United Burial Grounds, in Blockville, NY.  Representatives from District 6 joined several local officials for the distinguished ceremony.  Those in attendance included: Dept Cmdr Dan Kell, District 6 Cmdr JR Rotunda, District 6 President Doris 'Dee' Ippolito, Post 53 Cmdr, DAR and SAR members, Mayor of Blockville, Historian Pam Brown, and representatives from the offices of Rep Langworthy and State Senator Borrello.
