Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Department of New York
Established in 1925, the VFW Auxiliary Department of New York is proud to serve our veterans and advocate for the rights and benefits they so deserve for their selfless duty of protecting our country and the freedoms we enjoy.  With over 18,000 members, and growing, we are hard at work throughout the entire state.  The map below depicts how our membership is organized into 11 Districts.   Click on the map to learn more about each District and the Auxiliaries they represent.

OUR MISSION

The objects of this organization shall be fraternal, patriotic, historical, charitable and educational; to assist the Posts and members thereof of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States, and its own members whenever possible; to maintain true allegiance to the Government of the United States of America and fidelity to its Constitution and Laws; to foster true patriotism, to maintain and extend the institutions of American freedom and equal rights and justice to all men and women; to preserve and defend the United States of America from all her enemies."
