The VFW Auxiliary Department of New York has established Standing Rules, which enable the leadership and members of the organization to efficiently conduct business in accordance with the Department and National Bylaws. Standing Rules are previously adopted motions (usually for recurring actions) that become the policy and procedures used to guide transactions that must take place in between meetings.
